Graduated with BA Hons in Design from Glasgow School of Art, 1983

2001 to date: Professional artist, selling work privately and through galleries.

Work mainly in acrylic on canvas or board, inspired by Scottish landscapes and light.

1997 - 2001: Exhibitions and Display Officer, Aberdeen Art Gallery. Painted during this time, selling pieces privately.

1994 -1997: Taught Interior Design and Visual Merchandising HND courses at Aberdeen College. Co-ordinated and ran Visual Merchandising course. Continued to paint during this time and sold privately.

1983 - 1994: After graduating worked as Graphic and Interior Designer in Glasgow, Germany and Aberdeen. Also worked with the Tron Theatre and Scottish Opera. Maintained painting practice and sold privately.

BIOGRAPHY

Abigail Juett graduated with BA Hons in Design from Glasgow School of Art in 1983. Since then Abigail has worked variously as a painter, graphic designer, illustrator, interior designer, exhibition designer, in theatre with stage sets and costumes and a college lecturer in Art and Design before deciding to concentrate solely on painting professionally nine years ago. Abigail’s paintings are exhibited in various galleries throughout Scotland.
