Lives and works on the Isle of Lewis.

Emma graduated in Fine Art painting at Brighton University in 1992 and went on to be a visiting tutor at Brighton City College.

“I have always drawn and painted animals.  I enjoy the qualities in them which remind me of human behaviour.  Without anthropormorphosising them, I try to depict their vitality as well as perhaps their attitude to life as it were; the nervous gossip of chickens or the good natured curiosity of cows.”
