2007:  Nick Law was awarded the John Kinross Scholarship by the Royal Scottish Academy which allowed him to spend three months painting in Florence.  He also travelled around Tuscany and down to southern Italy and Sicily.  During this time he produced a body of work, some of which is in the current window exhibition.  Some paintings from this trip will be selected by the R.S.A. for their permanent collection.

In March 2008, Nick will be travelling to South East Asia and the Maldives.  This trip will consist of two months painting in Northern Sumatra and Java and two to three months teaching fine art practice, through workshops, for the national gallery of the Maldives.  Some work from these travels will be exhibited at the Rendezvous Gallery later in 2008.
